Losing because you're a newbie helps you learn more about how you can improve yourself (and it's pretty insulting to have yourself purposely lose because your opponent sucks that much). With something like hax, you don't learn anything from the experience. You don't improve, your opponent doesn't improve, and the game doesn't improve.
You barely have any influence over hax either. So you losing could be the result of a 10%.
The idea, like I said before, is to make battles less influenced by the game being an asshole and more influenced by players being skillful.
