seriously, I have no problem having either male or female of any other starter, it's just the rest of the evolutionary line (not even Popplio itself) that, despite me knowing blatantly it's a Fairy type in the end, I find myself struggling a bit more seeing it as a male more than a female. Only time I ever felt like that was with Samurott if a female and even then, there was less struggle back then because the only thing to it was the whiskers.
