It was a zubat in SS, but it was a ROM

I have terrible luck and don't intentionally shiny hunt, so I got my first ever shiny just last year, it's an Alolan-Raticate, he's adamant with full Attack and speed IVs, that's something I guess.

First caught was a shiny raticate in fr that I didn't even realize was shiny
I thought it was a word color orange so I caught it.

found a shiny floatzel while grinding on route 209 in diamond. by the time it popped up i was in that state of mind where you see the prompts in a pokemon battle but not really the details. i knew i was fighting a floatzel, but didnt notice it looked weird until i was selecting an electric type move. hesitated enough to see what i was looking at and threw a quick ball.
Two weeks later i lost my diamond version.
