Slowbro is better in base form because of Regenerator

Latios is better in base form because it hits harder with a Life Orb

Garchomp is better in base form because it's faster

M-Bro's a lot better 3v3 because it can run a more balanced set and Regenerator is a lot worse in 3v3. Not that it's bad in something like Smogon, but it definitely has a lot more going for it in something like BSS.

Scizor's only good if you factor in the opportunity cost of not running another Mega. If you could freely run M-Scizor over Scizor, I don't think there'd be any reason for not doing so.

What I meant by a lower tiered mon being better than its higher tier counterpart is that Slowbro, in its base form, is RU, whereas Mega Slowbro is BL but arguably worse due to lack of regenerator, taking up a mega slot, no leftovers, etc. I didn't mean just pre-evos that are better than their evos, but ones that are in a lower tier despite being better.

Such as? There are none in any of the tiers Slowbro is allowed in. Hell, the only pokemon that would ever consider running a crit boosting item is Farfetch'd and it's so irrelevant it's the go-to shitmon

I wonder what % usage that's at? I'd imagine it's probably some hundredth of a percent. Even if we were living in an imaginary world where this saw any use at all, M-Slowbro has the same ATK and no access to a sitrus berry, so it's worse than regular Slowbro at that, too.

M-Bro's a far better physical wall, and can set up multiple CMs with Slack Off without praying to the crit gods.

Regenerator and freeing up your mega slot makes regular Slowbro better in Smogon 6v6, but less fighting for the mega slot and the lack of switching can make M-Bro better 3v3.
