Skipping 2016 but letting it in 2017, the year that a new Nintendo console was released, is no fucking coincidence.

$60 Switch port is on the way with the arcade exclusive characters included as a boon, not as DLC for the Wii U version (lol remember wii u).

i guess Braixen is more easy to model and animated since it's not wearing a huge fur robe, also the magical girl is more attractive and fun to work than a wizard, i guess?

Also helps that Braixen stands out more from Gardevoir, and Croagunk's wacky personality and fighting style give it an edge over Toxicroak

So lets say the Switch port happens. Adds all those extra arcade-exclusive mons, and then some.
Who would you want in? Gen 7 mons would definitely be on the table.

My main men Sceptile and Scizor are in, so I'm set. That said, we need a Rock type for the sake of completeness. I'd love to get Regirock or Aggron or even Diancie, though I know some would prefer Tyrannitar. Nidoking would be my go-to pick if we need more gen 1, and for gen 7 I'd probably pick Ribombee or Golisopod to get some more bug dudes in there.

And of course I'd like Swampert to complete the Best Starter Trifecta.

Hydreigon would be cool. He could be really weak physically, but you could control each of the 3 mouths separately and have to keep the enemy away from you. Like you could paralyze the enemy with the right mouth, while charging a shot from the main mouth, and finishing with a final hit from the 3rd mouth

I don't care unless they go full Tobal or BT on us and give us literally every Pokemon because the core gameplay in Pokken is unfun compared to just about any competent conventional fighter and needs that level of novelty to be entertaining in any way
