Didn't mind Kalos; I could stay on Route 7, go to the Parfum Palace, or ride into Lumiose if I needed a change of scenery.
Route 117 in Hoenn wasn't bad either, but definitely like the Battle Resort's a bit better. Although I usually kept the volume off cause I'd get tired of hearing Pelippers, Tentacruels and Mantines screaming their heads off for Dexnav.
Kanto was extremely weird in FRLG. Sevii Island had the second daycare, but iirc, there wasn't a long path to simply bike on. Probably would say that was the worst.
Sinnoh wasn't my fav either, and Unova's was fine.
