New at this game , just got a d/s still on first island with all my mons over 20, trying to catch this fucker..
is it supposed to be such a grind to catch the right Nature ( careful / other spdef ) or is there other ways and i should not bother grinding at this stage

The nature of a pokemon isnt super meaningful in the main game, it only really starts to make a difference for competitive battling.

Honestly just catch one with a -SP A nature and youre fine.

Well that is my problem , atleast 10 + munchlaxes and none of them have a SP DEF nature ... LAX/Jolly is my closest ones

Yes. Get a Pokemon with Synchronize and the nature you want and put it at the start of your party and 50% of the Pokemon you encounter will have that nature.

I thought you could do Effort Value trainning and adjust with berries on what to lose ? That won't get you enough competitive ?
