XY already did, sadly they'll probably listen to the masses and fall for the "realism" meme and fuck it all up before long, SM already has shitty bloom in several areas that clash horribly with the game

Most noticeable in Melemele at night, especially when Lillie or Kukui with their heavy-white ensembles are on screen. It's like they dropped a softglow effect on the screen in photoshop.

Melemele during day was somehow worse for me

There's something off about the lighting in SM in general, several Pokemon have "spotty" shading with random patches of shadow on them where they shouldn't be and they didn't have in XY/ORAS. Cinccino is one I notice with that issue whenever I use it on a Link Battle and the camera is rotating around it.
