That's a really backwards way of thinking this. Anabel mentioning it counts as proof that it existed, unless you can be absolutely sure it was from some other world. The most straightforward way to think about it, and it makes sense. You're going into other worlds and basing the theory on things that cannot even happen, as far as we know, instead of just going with what makes the most sense in the most straightforward way.

They haven't outright denied it, but it's pretty clear. They also haven't denied that Charizard live underwater, just said that they live in Mountains. Are we also going to assume Charizard live underwater, since there's nothing that goes against it? It could be the case, but it sounds like bullshit. That's what I said this theory is.
