Sorry to hear you think that.
It's one of the top gens for me solely because of the Pokemon designs. Dreams came true with the bug types this gen and Alola forms for the most part are great.

Real horses have sclera

Real birds don't have whites in their eyes.
Crabrawler is based on a different species of crab, isn't water type and has a different theme than Krabby.

Bird Pokemon still have detailed beaks in new gens and Alola forms pretty much prove they wouldn't depart much from old Gen Pokemon if updating their design
