Setups with downsides like Rest, Belly Drum, Shell Smash, Curse etc see a decrease in usage, and strategies involving Confusion also see a dip since this is actually a substantial nerf to the status condition itself

Normally you have a 50% chance of hitting yourself.

If nufusion made you select a random move every turn, until it wore off, you'd only have a 25% chance of using the move you wanted. That's not really a nerf. Yeah, your other moves MIGHT do something, but not being able to use the moves you want is a big deal. Nufusion is little better than sleep.

If they wanted to make an status that forces a Pokémon to hits itself it might then be called Amnesia (because it forgets temporally how to use a move without hitting itself)
