Speaking of Fire Lash, I still can't understand what GF was thinking when they created it. They introduce a whole new move for Gen VII that's actually not bad, but then they give it to just one Pokemon, Heatmor. Not only that, but you can't even obtain Heatmor in this generation. It would've made more sense to give it to a Pokemon you can actually get in SM, so you can experience the move without transferring from a previous generation. And to make matters worse, Heatmor has a higher special attack stat than physical attack, while Fire Lash is physical, so it can't even make the most out of the move.
I can only assume they're planning to make it a Move Tutor move in the future (if they do, I hope Mienshao can learn it), and they just introduced it now in a limited manner because they didn't want to wait to include it in the games. Still, it feels like such a strange way of going about it to me.
