You have to start out with a Pokemon unlisted on the SM OU viability rankings. You can make up new moves and abilities, but if it is banworthy, you lose. It also has to mega evolve via held mega stone, and can only gain +100 bst.

No Slaking, Archeops, or Regigigas, and restrain your urge to Huge Power or go full MegaBee unless there's literally no other way to save the shitmon.

The moves it can abuse its new ability with are:

Backed up by 155 Attack and priority in Aqua Jet, i could see a Rock Polish set being very intimidating. If it is allowed to set up, it can tear teams a new asshole.

Despite this, i doubt it'd be banworthy. Its base speed is quite low, meaning that it NEEDS the setup, and it is stopped dead by Ferrothorn.

Not him but I posted the same ability for it in past make-a-mega threads. Think of the implications of hitting 4 times. That's tremendous damage output, so keeping the Atk low is keeping it from going overboard.

It turned out that I accidentally gave Vire 175 HP instead of 75 (only for that calc tho, not the others)

Real calcs:

Quagsire can just stall out Drain Punch with Recover, it can even PP stall if necessary.

When you multiply it by four, that is 92-112 damage on a non-stab move.

To put that into perspective:

It outdamages A-Wak

This, combined with the fact that Mega Ledian has a huge 130 base SpDef, passable 100 Defense, can come in for free on EQs, and 100 Speed, makes it REALLY good.

Yeah, okay then, I concede, Quag can counter it. Still, i think it'd be pretty damn good, and if you're incredibly desperate for the 6-0 against Stall you can go for a Naughty set with Cable Shock, Drain Punch, HP Grass, and Ice Punch, i guess?

still not tremendous for a mega, but not AWFUL.

I was gonna suggest removing the sheer-force effect from this (the elemental punches still only have a ~40% chance of inflicting status, which would honestly only be broken for Freeze), but then I saw that it has PuP.

imagine +4 in one turn so you're dealing 12x damage with punches. and even the first PuP is basically x7 damage because of the stacking. man.

Honestly, ledian deserves to be broken for once in its life.

EVs and IVs. No matter how high your base stat, they will always increase it by the same amount of point. Multiplying a raw stat multiplies however many points your base stat gives you, plus EVs and IVs. Therefore, the equivalent base stat is higher than just a straight multiplication.

Gets 120 bp Poison move that can harm and poison Steel types (20%), but only works on Steel types.
Gets Milk Drink knockoff, but it's also a 50BP attack with her. Doesn't miss.

Mega stone is released in a meta where this is B at best.

Nothing over the top, Unaware can be justified by having its fluff go over its eyes. Pretty handy offensive unaware mon to stop sweeps, and by far the bulkiest unaware for general stallshittery. Plus it has roar.

Multiply that by 4, and you're looking at 32.4 - 39.2%, almost a guaranteed 3HKO on a non-STAB. In comparison:

It's basically just a somewhat frail physical sweeper that also poisons. My ideal moveset based on its current movepool would be poison jab, aqua jet/aqua tail, fell stinger, and swords dance. Though I'd like it to have a move like pin missile, but it makes contact. It would attack first with either its water or poison stab and then finish the job with fell stinger to get that +3 attack boost. If the the foe is considerably bulky, qwilfish will instead use swords dance before attacking.
It would have to switch out for steel types, and super bulky or fast psychic and electric types, but if it sets up right, I think it could be pretty good in OU.
I might try to make a more defensive naval mine inspired mega qwilfish later, but I'll have to redistrubute a lot of stats to improve its abysmal defenses. I want to make it a steel type or give it steel stab with an ability, but it has no steel type moves so I'd have to give it iron head,heavy slam, and iron tail.

Ability wonder shield. Shedinja is now immune against attacking every move, passive damage, and can't be statused (by both volatile* and non-volatile, *like taunt). When it joins the field as mega-shedinja, it is also immune to entry hazard. The only way to defeat shedinja is to shutdown its shield, which can be destroyed by using one super-effective move against it. Afterward the shield is permadestroyed for the rest of the battle and shedinja can be defeated.

Why do I keep seeing this meme everywhere on this board? Can no-one here do basic multiplication? That's not how "on entry" Abilities work. As soon as the Ability changes to an "on entry" one, the effect activates. That's how it works for literally every goddamn Weather ability, for instance. It was the only ghost-like thing I could find.
My thoughts were that Noctowl has come in contact with the spirit world.
But it's still just a regular animal. So normal/ghost. With levitate, since it's a bird.
This give it one weakness, and immunity to ghost, normal, fighting, and ground. It would be a great check to several mons.

Your complaint is unfounded since historically it's been more about defending why a Pokemon does have a certain ability rather than why it doesn't. Not bad, but considering megas don't gain HP and 100 is already decent enough, I would grab those 15 points and give them to speed (65->80). I mean if its whole thing is flinching then the faster the better.

Also, average 85 across the board is still super low, would it really reach OU?

It now ties for 9th-12th for speed and has a 90% flinching move in air slash, and I still don't think it's going to do that well.
