BL in Gen 2 due to Belly Drum, and Gen 3 due to Bell Drum + Salac Berry (Still needed huge support to get rid of anything with more than 100 base speed and acess to a SE move against him). Deleted from the game until Gen 6 happened with his 2 megas and defog changes. I'd go with Pinsir, It took quite a while.
Honorable mention for Porygon-Z with Z-Conversion. Porygon-Z being BL in Gen 4, then UU in 5/6 then going back to BL again in S&M. With Conversion, while not being a pokemon took 7 gens to be good with Z-move introduction.
I have another question. Pokemon who stayed OU or managed to stay good in it ever since the gen it was introduced?
Hard mode: Not Skarmory, Zapdos and Gengar.
