His incredulous expression at the other two's simple mindedness and hand waving dismissively indicate that he regards the other two as beneath him, intellectually. The feather on top adds to this image, as it brings to mind a quill pen, which would only have been used by the educated, upperclass back when quill pens were a thing.
And now Primarina. Fucking Primarina. Ditzy expression on her face, hands clutching at her chest in shock. Everything about her body language suggests she is a female. An incapable, weak, female, who needs the men to take care of things for her. Oh, I'm sure she has her good points. Like she can cook. Or mend clothes. And I'm sure she has a lovely singing voice. And that's it. That's the extent of her character. The very model of a man's ideal woman. Weak and useless beyond doing things for her man.
