if you're already sent the command to land on the goal, as long as your mon doesnt instantly die from a surround you cant misclick (if you mean going on goal and starting a fight or something)

getting forced on the goal from displacement moves counts for the victory

I always rush with Deo-S. I've maxed Dodge so there's a better chance of them jobbing and me immediately bouncing to goal. Some know better and run a 3 mon to block the centre path so then I move to an entry, they have to move to goal (if they're not dumb) and then I switch Deo for Magikarp and basically own it. Dumb strat or good one?

Maybe like 36 hours, or a bit more than that. I've gotten two bots after not playing for around that amount of time, they're usually at around 1900 or 2000 rating and have a team with EXes and/or rares (some have triple weavile, I've also seen one with Lugia, Ho-Oh, Glaceon).

A few threads back, a guy who had a second duel account posted a screen of these bots, which appeared for him since he didn't play on the second duel account very often

So it's basically a "welcome back bot" that has a meta-looking team, but plays randomly like bugbot and usually never attacks

The only time this will happen is in the case of being pushed back since the 2MP figure is strong enough to run though your team. In this case, a Blue won't matter, since your team is being crushed by it.

Rating doesn't matter. You can drop 500 rating in an hour if you get unlucky.
I consider a respectable player someone that plays the game well and uses proper positioning in proper situations depending on the opponents team stacked to their own. Doesn't take risks if they don't have to unless are in a position where they can afford a bad roll.

There aren't really any poison lengendaries for the devs to put out. I'm guessing this is when they'll finally put in Gengar since that's one of the only poison pokemon I can think of getting an EX figure. They might save that for the ghost gym though. I'm guessing if they do, then we'll get Meganium/Celebi as either of our EXs for that gym then.

So back to decent poison figures already in the game, what are our options? Arbok, Golbat, and Wheezing? 6x Tentacool team? Venusaur will be kind of OP since it's getting both buffs. We don't really have many. On the other hand, we don't have that many great grass types either, besides Venusaur of course (and Leafeon, but it's not benefitting from the MP buff).

A Blue move is almost never a problem for a figure.
Sure, you stall a turn, but is that really bad? If the opponent doesn't know how to play the game, stalling one of their turns out is great, because it means you can move something up the board and pressure them from there.
and if they did position, you have a chance to flee or switch and save your figure that was being pressured by that attack.

as another anon said, Blues can frequently kill Plates such as Double Chance.

the only way a Blue is bad, is if you really need to net the kill that turn and no more turns can be wasted.

I -think- it can burn any pokemon in a straight vertical line behind the thing it starts a combat with to activate flame charge. I know it also works horizontally though; if Moltres is on their left entry and I burn a figure on my direct right, the whole row of figures on my opponent's goal line gets burned

Anyone else having insane luck today?

Was on 2050 earlier now I'm on 2300. Played a 2600 reunicuck who had both my entry points, was about to have my goal surrounded and I just walked the field with a Rhyperior pushing his heatmor back until I hit his home spot. Played a 2500 who attacked my shuppet on his first go, he hit a dodge, I get on his entry point he attacks again and I hit burn.

When do people get good at this game? If I didn't have such shit figures I'd be so much higher.

Yeah, thinking about it now, a 40 on a 3MP that can run all the way to threaten the goal in one turn is A-worthy, even without the plate.
I don't think Moltres is that good though. It's Purple is generally useless and Roost doesn't do it any favors, and those take up pretty much half the wheel. Add in the Miss and the weaker attack, and it really doesn't seem A-material.

As for Greninja, a 3MP with a huge Yellow and Blue is easily well deserving of A-rank in my opinion. Why don't you think so?

Because while the huge yellow is certainly a big boon, Water Shuriken tends to crumble against pretty much any other figure outside of the rare occasion Greninja wants to break 100 with it.

Also, don't doubt burn status. The combination of a miss piece and damage reduction can really screw some figures over.

Are you counting Metagross' rapid calculation's niche of countering Reuniclus and Deoxys-A, or does 'no synergies' apply to that as well? If you are counting it, Meta has a case for A-rank.

Your lower tiers are pretty bad though. Infernape and Garchomp are good mid-range attackers that can kill most runners easily. Infernape has a large gold and Garchomp has a purple that lets him jump an enemy. Both of these are pretty useful under the right circumstances. While it's nice to have a team full of bulky 100 attack-plus fuckers, you can almost always set up a good matchup against a runner with a figure like Infernape or Garchomp, and gain a positional advantage. They aren't amazing and definitely have their flaws, but they're good for teams on a budget and shouldn't be in the same caliber as garbage like the Sinnoh trio, solo Manaphy and unevolved Dragonite.

I'd move Zygarde down to E because Land's Wrath requires some synergy in teambuilding in order to avoid your purple attackers being wiped out. Even on a synergetic team, it's far weaker than most other 1mp Pokemon.

Empoleon and Keldeo could also be moved down to E. Empoleon's ability is nice but it's been power creeped to hell. Keldeo is really mediocre outside of rain teams and any attacker with a large white, or even an X-Attacked runner almost always gets the free kill on Keldeo.

Finally, Heatran into B. It's ability is fucking legit and it's giant purple can be quite useful if you ever have to go on the offensive with it.

Yes, I am counting the Metagross Ability.
I am also counting the fact that it sucks as it is now. Having it need on the field is a critical flaw, especially for a 1MP.

Infernape is hot garbage that I refuse to move.
As a 2MP, a max 80 with no ability or purple is just sad, and well it does have a decent Yellow, it just doesn't hold up to the rest of the figure. It well deserves the rank it has now, under figures like Deo-N. You say it doesn't belong next to the Sinnoh Legends, yet I see all these figures in the same light. They don't fill any niche and the best they can do is fill the roll of better figures until you get them.

As for Zygarde, It's other attacks make up for the potential bad his purple can do. His purple can also be amazing based on the opponents team. He is fine next to niche figures like Aggron.

Keldeo is a 3MP with 51. That alone gives it a major edge in the early game. However due to the miss size and the fact that it lacks abilities or purples, it remains in that tier.

Empoleon has a crazy good niche ability that changes how the game is played. If it had good attacks, it would easily be A-rank. But for now, it rests next to the other sub-par figures.

I can agree on Heatan and Garchomp though.
I do admit I thought Heatran was only 1MP when I made this. Haven't seen him very much.

His Blue might as well be a miss.
His 70 is subpar.
His Purple doesn't make a difference most of the time, and the the large purple keeps him scared of Yellow Rushers.
That niche of being good when attacking towards the goal line is just way too small to boost him next to something like the Gen 5 Legends.

riolu is lucky if it doesn't die against mew's 50dmg attack, you need to carry an attack X just to have a good chance at evolving and even if you evolve it you get a lucario with 2 stars and 80 attack, not worth it at all.

get it yet? nobody wants to take the risk of having a worthless figure for the small benefit of "aha, now I have 10 more damage and my purple is stronger!"

They are not worth the space on the list.

I added the Speed Booster evolutions because the difference they make is large enough to where they are completely different figures that dramatically change from if they were not evolved.

I think your current team is actually pretty good if you put Aticuno over Salamence. Salamence is way too easy to kill in this meta and fly away isn't as threatening to attackers as Articuno's 90 dmg or Ice Charge can be.
