And as for the rowlet being more popular then Decidueye, well, let's think. How much did rowlet score compared to Decidueye.
Rowlets highest pole score was 45, I believe.
And Decidueye had 40.
Literally 5 points lower then rowlet. That means nothing. And even the pokeYouTubers that beat the games with rowlet, suddenly wanted there rowlet to evolve, and they did evolve it at the end, it's not that they lost love for there rowlet, it's more of, it was to weak and they wanted to use it in battle, so they evolved it.
It's kinda like what's going to happen with the anime, there going to rowlet as a rowlet for a long time, but they'll start to notice that there audience wants to see rowlet go to it's fullest potential, and not be a useless backpack bird. And Decidueye is a certified badass so ash having one will make a lot of people happy.
