This only proves that SunMoon sucks and was a flop. I'm glad I didn't buy this crap of a game. It just now barely beat out ORAS and it's still not up to the godly gold-standard of XY.

I was disappointed by it too. I also did not buy it, my little sister got it from her boyfriend at Christmas. She didn't seem too interested, so I took it for a spin to see if the hype was real.

Is there a more recent number for this? It had only been 2 months since the game came out in December. Now it's been an additional 3 months. I want to see SM surpass XY in sales, becoming the top selling 3DS game so GF will make more like it.

Why? For shittier graphics that are just painful to look at, low number of Pokemon and moves, lack of Physical/Special split that renders it borderline unplayable by today's standards, lack of a whole new type, or something else I missed?

I think that telling to the player what is effective and what is uneffective is a good idea for kid and new player. They should put an option for deactivate it if you're a veteran player.

Allthough its true that XY did excellent and was the best 3DS selling game for over 3 years.Meanwhile ORAS is the best selling remake

3DS is good sales wise for GF

Yeah, which is why the gyms from Erika and on have basically the same levels and don't provide any difficulty whatsoever until you get to the E4.

Looking at some Pokemon game sales (third games excluded to keep comparison fair):
