You can find a teddiursa in the dark cave at the beginning of crystal.
Gl trying to fin it though it has a low find rate and will fled if you dont get it 1st ball.

I caught it and Phanpy the first time I played the game as a kid. I wanted the rare mons.

I wish they made other mons as frustratingly tough to get as these. Mareanie was a step in the right direction.

It's cute but its a generic cutelike eevee or the starters. Things like joltik, phantump, skrelp, and mimikyu are more memorable and cute for unique reasons.

stufful has more going for it. It's definitely more generic seeming, but between the dex entries, the little tag and the connection to bewear it has more going for it. Teddiursa is just a bear cub, and ursaring just a bear; cool/cute bears, but still just bears. Their designs are quite bland too, hell, you could say they're bearly pokemon at all.

I have several penta perfect teddiursa I bred in XY, as well as perfect HA cubchoo and pancham because I liked breeding cute bears.

Pokémon that are "just animals" are the best and most appealing. This is the reason why people were attracted to Pokémon on the first place, the reason Gen 1 Pokémon are still so popular, and the reason that Digimon lost and became a tiny little niche franchise.

Overdesigned garbage has no appeal to non-hipsters.

Being simple and being generic is very different, anon. Charizard is a good, simple design, ursaring is bland. And nobody wants JUST animals, since the first games we've had things like jynx, magmar, electrabuzz, scyther and other mons based on multiple different thing meshed together properly.
