Why not just use scizor/M pinsir/Talonflame then. There is no excuse to use a pokemon with a hindering ability unless it is Mega Rayquaza levels of broken otherwise

Now, when Emergency Exit is activated after your HP is dropped to 50%, Golisopod takes priority over others Pokemon during that turn (ex: in double battles where there's more than two pokemon), he delivers a blow (aka your selected move) before being switch out.

I found its ability solid for in-game because I was Nuzlocking on "set", and since Golisopod is bulky, he could take a hit and switch out for one of my more fragile team members. Pretty good

Anytime a strat is "but in doubles you can nullify its bad ability with X" it means you could drop that pokemon and instead have "but in doubles you can spend the first turn using swords dance/dragon dance/some other setup and be even better".

Are you kidding? It's an okay pokemon, but it's only as good as milotic statwise. Definitely not enough to warrant such a painfully hindering ability. If it had Slaking or Regigigas tier stats then it'd be fine.
