>>32246702Okay, great, but it still doesn't answer the question. It's fun because it's a "puzzle"? That makes no sense. Boring puzzles are a thing. I'm asking what made boulder pushing fun. And I would hardly even call it a puzzle.
>>32246716>>32246738That's the result of the reward, not the puzzle. You're glad the annoyance is gone. My point was that the activity wasn't fun. And if it wasn't fun, it wasn't fun. You're saying an annoying task is okay because of what comes after it. I don't agree. There should be no annoying part.
Is that a puzzle to you? Looking around a room to find a boulder to push super fun for you? Stopping everything you were doing, and looking around the room to find a fucking boulder to push just so you can resume doing what you were doing? Is that fun? Is that what you want? Just because the reward is nice doesn't excuse shit gimmicks you're labeling puzzles. I've repeated it many time, but you're not using your brain or skills or anything but wasting your time at this.
So I guess every complaint about the cutscenes is just bullshit. Because the cutscenes might be stopping you, but they're gonna unlock more stuff. They must be the best thing to exist then, right? The "dopamine" you get will be just as pleasing, right? No, fireworks aren't what they needed. They needed to add actually fun puzzles in the dungeons. Not a chore that you're trying to justify using the reward.
I'm done. Ignore my question. I know the answer. You just felt like a super smart special snowflake because you pushed some boulders in some fucking holes. You completed a soulless task, one only a genius like you complete, and you found that fun. That is the answer.
>>32246756Yeah, exploring is fun. No one is saying otherwise.
>>32246814And again, no one is saying they want straight line. The argument here is that strength puzzles were shit and they should not return. Not that there shouldn't be nice places to explore and better puzzles.
