Kind of off topic, but am I the only one that feels like it's weird to have Pokemon come after the "god" of Pokemon? Back in high school we would always talk about how there wouldn't be new Pokemon because Arceus basically concluded everything and was the final discovered Pokemon

Basically they'll keep pulling Pokemon from other mythologies like with X and Y having the Yggdrasil trio. Yeah, Arceus is kind of like the end-all be-all Pokemon, but it was probably made with the Catholic story of creation in mind.

That's alright. A Pokemon's position in the Pokedex is just that; the order it was registered. It does beg the question of why Type:Null and Silvally are in between the Akala and Ula'Ula dexes though. You'd think they'd be at the tail end with the Tapus and UBs.
