Kinda unrelated but:

After 20 years, I expected Pokemon as a franchise to not do things so methodically. Why do we have to wait 3 whole years for a new generation? Why do they always take 1 step forward and 2 steps back? Why are things that were perfectly fine in a previous generation discarded just for something new? Why are all the mainline Pokemon games still the same thing all the time? Why do certain Pokemon games have an obvious lack of polishing?

Anon, after the failures that were ORAS, you can't seriously want D/P remakes. They would be remaking Diamond/Pearl, not Platinum, and no one in their right mind wants a remake to the objectively worse Sinnoh games.
