>>32263328Is this some sort of meme that people overrate Emerald this hard on /vp/? Gen III as a whole is incredibly outdated and Battle Frontier is pretty much the only thing Emerald has over ORAS. ORAS has modern-day mechanics (proper breeding and EV training mechanics and most importantly physical-special split, thank God), the best online features in the series in the form of PSS, actually good soundtrack that hasn't been ruined with MIDI trumpets, excellent redesigned areas, soaring, visiting secret bases using PSS and QR codes, new major NPCs, Delta Episode, Mirage Islands, Dexnav and so on. I swear I've never seen any other argument against ORAS besides "m-muh Battle Frontier", so can we just stop this meme right here and accept that Gen III is outdated and not worthy of a top spot when talking about the best Pokemon games?
