I walked out of my job yesterday after I got a promotion.
I just flew to another continent to see my internet girlfriend of five years for the first time. I only had sex with her once though I was there for 10 days. She only slept at my apartment twice and I didn't see her half the time. Two days after I got home she told me she didn't love me anymore and wasn't attracted to me and wants to break up. I don't care about the money I lost obviously, but I spent about 3k on that trip.
With no girlfriend to motivate me and keep me going, I can't find the motivation to go to work and function. I went into work drunk yesterday, and after about 90 minutes I sobered up and I could barely keep myself from crying while I was on the job. So I just walked out and went home and I'm never coming back.
