Except it's stated in XY that Mega Stones are evolution stones mutated from exposure to energy from AZ's weapon

And Team Magma/Aqua's shenanigans in ORAS created another batch of Mega Stones

Megas are Pokemon mutating from exposure to irradiated stones.

It's unnatural, which is why many Pokemon go crazy or are in pain when they Mega Evolve.

No. I don't buy the bullshit. They only did this because Megas took over the meta, but everyone loved them, so they couldn't get rid of them just yet. Instead, they did this as a way of getting back at us and hopefully destroying Megas for good. No. I will not. Not ever. I may not be able to use them, but I will not forget them! Everything that went wrong about Megas was their own damn fault and they won't take responsibility for it. A little kid could've make better sense out of this.
