Sorry, I'm going to have to say it now.
Having the most extensive postgame in existence does not make it better. Heck, most of it is just mindless grinding for E4 mk II, which you can only get by fighting the phone trainers over and over. The last time I was met with this gate, I said screw it and never bothered with it again. Yes, the original was worse. Heck, that takes forever even with speeding up the emulator a zillion times. And for what? Just for nostalgia fights? I don't even like BW2 and it was sorta handled better there because grinding is pointless for anything but moves. Yes, there's all this stuff, but the entire thing makes me feel like I'm wasting my time because nothing else is going on. At least the more recent games have a framing device for their postgame. This is just...empty. True, it's reflective of the original, where they just didn't have the means to put more in there, but it's also no better in a time where it should be. No. I cannot give this credit anymore. It may still exist in a technicality, but it's a substanceless technicality. Oh well, it's pokemon, what do I expect?
