Mega-Garchomp now keeps Garchomp 102 Speed base stat.

How viable would it be? Would regular Garchomp still be used?

Not enough of an improvement over standard, ability is weather dependent, still not worth the mega slot.

Still not worth it. And Chomp needs to be in Sand to truly outdamage it.

No it won't. Maybe in a dedicated Sand team, but SD Chomp can use Z-Crystals and won't waste your mega slot. MegaChomp is no different from Blaziken. Barley any merits to differentiate itself from the base form.

That wasn't enough to make Mega Latios worth using over the base form. So no.
