We've seen this before with Mystic Fire (Mismagius), Spiky Shield (Maractus, Cacturne, Togedemaru), and Water Shuriken (Accelgor), among other moves. Like how there were some moves & abilities only a single line would get in Gen VI, but spread in S/M, such as Parting Shot or Sweet Veil.
