More like UU or even RU, actually. If you really want to balance Speed Boost without making it shit, make it require landing a hit before the effect is applied. That way, the users will be encouraged to go aggro instead of simply using protect on the first turn like they always do.

Ash Greninja is effectively a different species in the game's code. There's regular 87.5% male Greninja in the Water 1 egg group with Torrent/Torrent/Protean in its ability slots, then there's 100% male Greninja in the Undiscovered egg group with Battle Bond in all 3 ability slots.

It would be total ass to tier and balance this shit and allowing blaziken without speedboost would lead to a slippery sloap that just isn't worth it.

Because allowing/banning Pokémon based on what ability they're using is significantly less complex than allowing/banning them based on their EV/IV spreads. Abilities are a maximum of three variables, EV/IV spreads are several hundred variables. I don't see how they're comparable.
