The argument here is that because this board was made for anime, Japanese, discussion, and that the Pokemon games are available in Japanese, using Japanese Pokemon terms is fine.
By that logic, internet was made for English speakers, and Pokemon games are available in English, using English names on a Japanese board is just fine. Which is ridiculous.
