there are plenty of good ice type pokemon considering their relative rarity. if anything, its water type that needs saving. and scald did that.

I can't be the only one that thinks Ice should offensively beat Fire, just as Fire offensively beats Ice. They should be weak to eachother.

That doesn't fix Ice type but still.

Make them resist Water (because it just freezes against them), Ghost (because what's ghostly chill gonna do?) and Poison (because slow metabolism).

The type doesn't need any offensive buffs. Ice attacks are already popular, just not Ice Pokémon.
