Good thing I only bought a Deoxys-A and not a whole team of them. Though I did get a Deoxys-S from a blue box two days after I bought Deoxys-A.

And side note: Anyone dumb enough to throw away EXs before have no reason to complain about it. You would have to be a moron to had not see that they would be receiving a buff in the future. ie: Dialga

Anyway, Empoleon will be a 3mp mon that can freeze if it doesn't kill you, the downside is that it will die in the process but at least it's not entirely useless.

What are the good water figures anyway? I can only think of Greninja which doesn't really benefit from this Gyms boost, Blastoise which'll probably be a slightly better Chestnaught and the newly buffed Empoleon.

This deck is more about defensive positioning and an initial Shuppet rush because frankly he probably is the best 3 mp burner. Flareon is okay but he has a poor survival rate so he's not useful for huddling. Maybe if I were using Quillava>Typhlosion I would but I want to see how much mileage I get out of Flame Kinesis/Magma Slide + Area Trap. Also I have no Flareons.

What you want is to burn not survive, Flareon is great for that because it burns most of the time even if it dies and then you can quickly throw it again.
Same reason why Crobat and Umbreon are staples in poison teams, they're kamikazes.

I do want to burn but at the same time I'll have a much easier time if I kill two of their pokes first. Then I only need 4 burns and it's meant as more of a secondary win con since I think if I can kill two of their Pokemon and pin two more to Trapinch getting to the goal should be pretty easy.

No. There's nothing amazing in the current booster, and nothing new to try out. Sceptile and the other new Grass guys are okay figures at best, they were really pushed into the meta by being Deoxys counters...but Deoxys is dead so there's no real reason to buy this pack.

Save all gems and tickets for next month.

I'll test it as is for now but if it doesn't seem to work I'll try replacing Shuppet with Flareon (if I get one), one of the Delphox with Typhlosion, and remove the max revive for something. Probably a scoop up and a double chance.

I mean, Empoleon is a weaker Heatran.

Palkia new white ability relies in too much luck/factors.

Fug effective against fug , unreleased figure and another figure that no one uses.

Not really, Watermons need the +20 firepower not an extra MP which they will likely get.

Kyogre stands to gain the most but it's not even out, so trying to rush with Mew-bait like Gyarados and Blastoise is your best bet.

I agree with Rayquaza and Palkia but I believe Empleon isnt shit. Its got a unique ability that can deal with figures blocking your entry point or taking to take your goal, its got a gold attack to attack heavy purple users if used effectively and that frozen buff if it dies is a great insurance incase your opponent would take out your Empleon

Everyone keeps saying deoxys is dead now and that they're replacing theirs but is it not still one of the best stand alone figures in the game? I'm loving this kabuto buff. I always liked him but his miss slice was way to big to have on my teams. Now he has no miss at level 5 plus a fucking yellow, goddamn thats good. I hope they release kabutops soon.

Deoxys A by itself was never the problem, it was always Cosmo Energy forcing cheap Deoxys S rushes. And now, Deoxys A has to be careful when respinning around 2 Star Purple figures because it can no longer force ties with Dimensional Slip.
It's not a nerf in the traditional sense, the devs are just forcing people to be more strategic with Deoxys A rather than brute forcing wins like before.

Still broke and unplayable.

Use three tickets and a quad and all i got was a lapras. Low 1500 rating and my Opponents all have 4+ ex. Lower tier pokemon are basically useless in this game.

Their should at least be different classes or points caps on teams. I want to like this game but its doing everything it can to make me not.

when did you start playing? Craft a shupet, at 1500 rank you should be able to meme a lot of them, just stupid rush tactics, open a lot of chests and you should be able to get some Ex figures. You can use swap spot to cheese wins with suppet too if your oponent is an idiot.

About 80% of chesnaughts wheel is draw/protect or gets ko'd against almost 75% of mews wheel. Its basically another gyarados.

i think it will outweight those advantages, moltres like zapdos can jump over other figures, so you dont really lose a lot of movility, while is better to counter deoxys A, he just got nerfed and i think moltres will work better in a lot more situations

yveltal works well with other dark mons, alone isnt really going to help you much, sometimes can even fuck you with the drain wind. Just replace latias with another runner, using latias is really risky. I recomend you to use shuppet, you can set a very annoying tramp in the middle of the field with magikarp and vibrava to surround with shuppet, forcing the oponent to play in the sides of the field

Taking gyms 'seriously' is hard because gym metas are usually a lot more centralized and you usually need a very specific team to really climb the ranks.

Not sure what your rares are but I'd definitely use Virizion and Palkia. Gren is still a good runner even if it won't be getting any MP boost. Ho-Oh and Heatran are also worth considering, Ho-Oh because of its ability to give you the numbers advantage, and Heatran for entry control + the giant purple which threatens common rain attackers like Palkia and Gyarados

I finished at 1504. Really, really, hate this team. They would roll the poison power 4 times in a row and screw me. Then anything single that could move 3 and deal 90 or more damage would destroy me. Not to mention all the double ghost team I couldn't touch.

You should be doing that anyways, it's virtually impossible to lose most matchups if your opponent has to slog through 3+ figures to win, and it mitigates RNG by giving leeway.

You get to 3000 by playing defensively. Runners other than Mew are wasted slots.

I got into PD a day or so ago but only had a few duels. So far everyone facing me has had either a 3 magikarp/shitty weedle deck or an all-bug deck. No one tries to protect their flag and I beat them in three turns.

I just started and between 1500-1600. Most opponents have 3+ EX. Many have full squad. This is a typical whale game. I am struggling to keep playing. Just doesn't seem worth it.

Otherwise keep fighting sub-1500 bots for timed boosters until you pull good shit and grind by doing the quests in the meantime

A lot of tards love to spend money on this game. Best you can do is get figures the old fashion way with daily gems and whatnot. I haven't dropped a cent on this game and I think I've peaked at about 1950 or so. Everyone I face uses the same 10 or so EX figures. There is no variation at all. I was even surprised that Floatzel was in the game because I've never seen its figure before. Everyone uses the same 5 or pre-made decks too.
It's the nature of game.

Yes, there are counters, but before tropical energy, they were incredibly difficult to kill even with "counters" like Zapdos or Deoxys-A. Counterplay involves more than figures regardless, the fact that Reuni can easily win "unfavorable" matchups via respins, bruteforce to goal, or easily timestall are all examples

It's shit now and was easily beatable in tropical energy meta but the figure design itself is cancerous and deserved the nerfs it got after the initial launch
