The inclusion of plot hurt the replayability of the games a lot. I actually felt that way back in BW already but no one would listen because muh N. At least BW2 redeemed those games to a large extent, nothing of sort happened to XY and I'm afraid we might get a repeat with SM, which is currently the worst about it's intrusive plot bullshit by far.

ORAS/vp/ averaged around 700-900 pruned threads weekly, now its less than 500 (475 to be exact). I know cause I used to make fun of this board's dead state back then, i think i still have the screencaps saved somewhere.
