Probably another ORAS esque approach but keeping the Frontier due to backlash even though the Platinum one is garbage, if done in the Gen VII engine expect heavily stripped down dungeons to accommodate it
Personally as long as the regional dex isn't the DP one everything else could just be pretty much DP in whatever the newest engine is and I'd be okay with it, that's the only Platinum improvement I really give a shit about
