I only see improvements.
The underground was nothing but a time sink of the worst kind.
Poffins were shit versions of pokeblocks.
And Contests, well they were already filled with gimmicks unless you think dancing and dress up were important parts of the game. It was casualised to fuck as well because there were no combos, jamming moves or nervousness.

DPPt is so shit.

I feel you, OP. Seeing how they've been doing Pokemon on the 3DS, if Sinnoh remakes don't come to the Switch, they'll release another lackluster entry and Sinnoh will be ruined forever, just like they did with Hoenn.

It's also a capacitive screen rather than resistive so no stylus for accurate digging unless you want it to become a glorified android game where every icon is the sixe of your thumb and you can never use it as a second screen in the same way as a DS.

That's one of the many downsides to Sinnoh. It was released in the touchscreen gimmick era of the DS where every game had to utilise it.
