To check all of his possible movesets you need to fill half your team with anti-metagross garbage, and he's still going to take a chunk out of you before you figure out what he's running. Plus he might just get a meteor mash boost and roll over you regardless.
"Lele will become overpowered" is also not an argument, smogon never takes the resulting effect on other pokemon into account. If it results in things becoming broken, they deal with them afterwards. Also, it's retarded to keep a broken thing in the meta just so it can beat a different broken thing.
