>>32459849Well, the news don't do a good job of being neutral about pedophiles. It's understandable that people a very sensitive if it's about abuse, especially sexual abuse, of children, but people tend to not even consider that not every pedophile actually watches CP or goes out raping children.
If society would stop screaming for torture and capital punishment for pedophiles and rather focus on helping them to get into therapies so they can live with their desires without practicing them, they'd feel comfortable with getting help. But since even homosexuality is still frowned upon by many people, and those SJW extremists are anything but helpful, that might be a goal for the next decade, when the whole gender thing has calmed down.
