It was always Machamp back in the day, but lately it might be Exeggutor. I don't know why Exeggutor, it's just always put in work whenever I've used one and is so strange it loops round to being great.

I've had many. As a kid it was Pikachu. Then it was Blastoise, Nidoking, Gengar, Arcanine, then Charizard.

Probably Hitmonlee or Gengar are my favorite gen 1 pokemon. I also really like Kabutops.

Excellent tastes.

Before I knew about competitive battling: Eevee, easily. Gengar close behind though. Arcanine was alright too.
Transition period: Lapras, Gengar
After I got gud: Starmie, Alakazam and still Gengar kek.

I've always been the kind of person who couldn't pick one favorite. There's just too many ones I like a lot.

Yeah competitive battling really changes how you look at the game. I'm finally getting out of it again and it's nice getting back into some of my old favorite shitmon.

My favorites used to be Umbreon and Blastoise.

Competitive favorites became Garchomp and Gengar.

Now I'm really into Torterra and Tyrantrum.

Briefly really fucking scary in gen 5 before power creep started ruining the meta, early gen 5 metagame was the last fun meta and the first and last time my boy could rampage through people with sheer force specials. Nidoking will always be the king of poison in my heart.
