And the number open rule that screwed over incineroar was type.

Literally, they purposely set incineroar to lose when it comes to the smash roster. And if you don't think they purposely made Decidueye not only ready for smash from the geko. It shares not type match up with any other smash pokemon. And just in cars you flying type, Decidueye is ghost for no reason. That was intentional so he doesn't mess with Charizard. And is it odd that Decidueye has the coolest design and is the fastest and the most frail final form for the alola starter. and if you don't know, ash mostly uses the fast and frail starter, and that's usually his main. And plus kids like Decidueye over incineroar, and Nintendo do
