They probably did that because it could be dangerous to the person inside the costume. Idk but I think someone could even asphyxiate inside that shit

Also, the guy in white who rushed to take the Pikachu off the stage is part of the staff, but the guards thought he was some crazy spectator and tried to take him out of there. You can even see him trying to explain the misunderstanding while more and more guards come running towards him.

You guys are totally misinterpreting this. The lead Pikachu wasn't feeling good and the guy in white ran out to give him a hug to make him feel better. Then the guy in black was so overwhelmed with emotion that he runs out and hugs the guy in appreciation, and all the other guys in black followed suit.
