Hey /vp/. I recently just got into competitive battling and i was wondering what a good sweeping set would be for pic related. I already searched on goolge for some but found many different sets, so I figured if anyone would know, it would be /vp/. Thanks in advance.

/vp/ is for after the fact when you actually know what you're doing and talking about and can contribute to the conversation.

Not just "give me something good to go rekt kids on showdown" If you wanna do that figure it out yourself (google)

Competitive battling is one thing but the format affects the sets a great deal.

e.g. Smogon Ubers, Battle Spot Singles, Casual with friends, etc.

And you should try using the Pokemon Showdown website for competitive advice over /vp/. I'm one of the few actual competitive battlers on here after /cpg/ (Competitive Pokemon General) secluded itself on Pokemon Showdown due to so many dead threads. /vp/ is pretty awful when it comes to competitive.

252 Atk/252 Speed/4 Def (you want an odd number for HP so you can switch into Stealth Rocks an extra time)

*Facade is also a decent option to bypass burns

Good teammates include a strong fire type such as Volcarona (to beat Skarm, Celesteela, and rotom forms as well as set up on Fairies, also resists ice) and a rock resist (since both MegaMence and Fire types are weak to rock types). If you play 6v6, a defogger like Zapdos or Fini helps
