It doesn't have any memesongs like BW and SM and they didn't grow up with it so it's shit
In all seriousness it's a pretty solid soundtrack but it doesn't really exceed anywhere, the most standout track is Battle! Gym Leader which is gonna be love or hate because it's so different from typical Pokemon music. It would fit more naturally into a racing game of some sort.
