It's confirmed. Nintendo is hiding the failure that is Sun & Moon and pretend it never happened. They are abandoning the franchise.

As I understand it, Nintendo were smart enough to ensure that their part of the three way split means they own the character names, right? Pokémon is literally worthless if you can't market it. It is never leaving Nintendo.
