Actually had a lot of fun trying to beat S1 recently. Its refreshing to play a difficult yet uncomplicated Pokemon game and I loved raising my own Pokemon for it. Only analogue now a days is Global Link competitions and those are limited time.

I really miss Stadium too. I'm not really invested in Gen 6+ mainly due to no Stadium or end game that is interesting. I loved Stadium as kid more than I liked the base game.

Well, Masuda said that he feels a 3D battle game like Stadium or Battle Revolution would be unnecessary, since we have 3D battles on our main series games now. I'd still kill for one, though.
I think GF just doesn't realize how many people would be willing to buy one of these types of games.
