Absol will leave their mountain top environments to hunt if food is scarse. Here we see one carefully attacking a Kirlia with a biting move but not as strongly as it could. In fact, the predator is using the prey's call for help to see two things: If it has disarming voice and if there are others nearby to protect it. If none come, the Absol will drag the prey back to it's mountain where it will use it's bladed ear to quickly end the Kirlia's life.
