Golduck is one of my favorites for very simple reasons, I've used one in all my playthroughs, always named Goldab because of a spelling error I had in Red and I grew attached. He's never let me down, through Kanto to Alola from 1st run to nuzlocke, he's always been solid. I don't favor the competitive scene, not my thing, so I've really never had any complaints about him or optimizing team set up. I just know, no matter what I NEED a Golduck on my team in any playthrough. What are your favorites /vp/?
