Unless its to take 5 minutes to reveal a last minute character, why would they even wait until literally a few days before the release to share extensive information? It's probably the reason this Direct exists in the first place.

I never paid much attention to the release dates but thats cool. If they do announce a remake of any kind though Im fine with it being tomorrow, next month, or whenever really. I have other things to do in the meantime outside pokemon.

XY were announced in January of that year.

Pokemon games are usually announced between January and May and never at E3. If a game doesn't get announced by the end of the month we aren't getting one this year.

BW2 got announced in fucking February. Pokemon games always get announced early May at the latest. It's past mid May and there's still no announcement so no game this year.

Gap year makes sense anyway so they can shill Marshadow this year and whatever new Necrozma form or whatever the fuck next year. Gen 8 will be the year after that on Switch.

Because 2011 was off year in Japan. Pokemon black and white 2 was announced for Pokemon anniversary.

2015 off year and new game announced in February.

X and y were October to oras announcement in May. 7 months

So 7 months to November is June

They don't freaking show info for oras until the e3 just had a 30 sec teaser wasn't even a direct
