>>32554537It has to rely on an event for one of its best moves, extreme speed. Also, burn got nerfed the generation after it got sacred fire, and that doesn't help. One of the better fire types when you compare it to pure dogshit like simisear and rapidash, but not good enough to justify over zard x, marowak, blaziken (if you play anything other than smogon), infernape, or victini. Even specially inclined fire types like zard y and volc, or support mons like torkoal and heatran tend to outcompete it for a teamslot because fire isn't a good enough type to warrant more than one teamslot (compared to water, steel, etc.).
