Haven't seen one of these in a while.

Anyone know what's up with the flea market it Malie or however it's spelled? Google turns up nothing but other people asking how to get different items for sale with anecdotal reports of hats/shoes not being version exclusive.

As someone who's been trying to get the hats since November I can say that they're definitely version exclusives. Sun sells shiny street caps and Moon sells shiny shoes.

I haven't played since emerald, and I keep hearing discussion about move tutors for Sun/Moon which I don't know how they work. Are the tutors introduced in an update to the game; like eg after downloading 1.3 there'll be some new NPCs hanging around the battle tree that can teach gunk shot, drain punch, etc? Or are the move tutors just supposedly going to be in the assumed 3rd game / DP sequels?

We've never had content added like dlc through a patch before beyond like item compatibility or bug fixes that almost feel like new content because of how broken things were before but who knows what may change in the future.

Yes, although I think some of them are in post game areas. We don't know shit about the 3rd version/sequels/ect. including no official word that we're getting anything, it's all speculation based on patterns and blind hope because of how much stuff is unavailable right now.

Can the anime be watched alongside the games, with the same progression ? I havent watched it since like the first series as a kid.

I mean I know the main character of the anime is Ash not my character, but are all the story events the same? Seems like it would be fun to watch it as a companion piece to the game, I just picked up Sun.

You can, but any plot past the order of the cities and gyms isn't really going to match up more than a few times for some series, and not at all for others. Like BW doesn't match up at all, no events in the game with Team Plasma happen in the series.

Sun and Moon doesn't seem like it's going to match up at all either.

Oddly enough, the first few seasons work best.

Either way, you can always try. Haven't had the time to sit down and watch the anime in ages.
